May 1 - Thursday
Postal entries must reach post office box by today.

May 2 - Friday
On-line entries close at midnight.

May 3 - Saturday
Late entries accepted at Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club 1pm-5pm (unless 2,000 entries received beforehand).

May 4 - Sunday RACE DAY!

7am  - Registration opens at Byron Bay SLSC for issue of timing bracelets, swim caps and T shirts.

8am  - Registration for mini-swim closes.

8am- 9am – Pre-race massage – Kelly Kennedy

8:45am - Mini-swim starts (along Main Beach towards The Pass)

9am  - Registration closes for Beach Hotel 20th Annual Byron Bay Winter Whales Ocean Swim Classic closes

9am - Pre-race briefing for Ocean Swim Classic

9:15am - First buses leave for Watego’s Beach with 1st 3 waves of competitors.

9:45am - Ocean Swim Classic starts at Wategoes Beach (staggered start).

10am–12 noon – FREE face painting River City Church

11am (approx) - Elite Superfish wave starts

12:15pm (approx) - Beach Hotel Dash for Cash (for swimmers who complete the Ocean Swim only) after finish of Ocean Swim Classic.

1pm (approx) - Presentation begins (includes valuable random draw prizes - Competitors must be present personally to be receive prizes).
